Although hydrojetting is not as common as snaking, it is an extremely useful and efficient tool used for clearing drains. Using highly pressurized water with specialized nozzles, the hydrojet sprays the inner dimensions of the pipe. This cuts away at material such as; rust build-up, concentrated grease, and much more. Our machines are built specifically to clean and clear drains, basically we are pressure washing the pipes using close to 4,000 psi water (hence the name Hydrojet).
Hydrojetting was made for sewer cleaning. It's the most efficient way to clean a sewer and remove blockages. We regularly jet Cast Iron, PVC, ABS and many other types of pipe. Many times the jet is the only way to clear a blockage.
Take grease for example; when you snake grease the cable pushes through and creates a hole in the grease so that water will pass through. if left unattended you'll be calling your plumber right back to have them snake it out again and again. You can snake grease time and time again but it will never completely clear the grease.
By jetting the grease we actually remove it from the system by melting it down into manageable particles and flush it out the system. Our specialized nozzles are built to remove grease and other obstructions by spraying the entire surface area of the inner pipe walls. These nozzles spray in a multitude of directions and can handle a number of different velocities and volumes of water.
Our jetters are built to get the job done right.
